CAPSULED LUST

Dear Lucy,

When we first met you were acute hair in bun, in pajamas on the bed injured couldn’t run, so I tried to help your pain to make it numb, you were ready to heal by taking one, so motivated and determined to get it done, but after that first week we had some fun, you’d double in progress then fell in love, I tried to tell you to focus and put down the rum, I tried to warn you of what would come, you promised every time but then tripled it in sum, but you kept lying, often playing dumb, when I was empty without refills you were bummed, returning home popping scripts from friends like gum, i watched you slowly breaking like crumb, constantly unscrewing my head with your thumb, throwing me against walls with screaming lungs, at times when empty kept you having none, who knew in the morning your youthful life wouldn’t come?, I now sit on your dresser where it all begun, physically empty now you and I are done, that last inside of me dissolved us both at once, you tried to turn my medication into your lunch, which created a lethal dose that would consume you by brunch,

love , Bottles touch Capping dust
